Refuge

This illustration reflects on how memories and experiences accumulate over time and become part of our identity. A house emerges from a female figure, containing objects, animals and fragments of everyday life that draw from aspects of my own identity and experience. As moss and vegetation grow across the body and architecture, the image explores the traces that time and lived experience leave behind.
